Ultraman Noah from Marvel

4. Daredevil is dead?

4. Daredevil is dead?

Hell's Kitchen, the largest slum and gangland in New York and even the entire United States, is a place of chaotic power struggles, with the Russian Mafia, Irish gangs, the Hand, local gangs, and others vying for territory.

Small-scale crackdowns every three days and large-scale crackdowns every five days have become commonplace here. The police officers and government departments here are even more appalling, clearly corrupted. The law is a mere formality; it is simply a paradise of evil and a hell for ordinary people.

Ji Yuan was walking on the streets of Hell's Kitchen, where he had lived for a month.

As for the reason, we have to start with the first treatment of Coulson.

Ever since he cured Coulson for the first time, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents have started to appear around his small clinic. To be honest, Ji Yuan didn't understand why. He didn't seem to have shown anything particularly special, so he didn't understand why he had entered the field of vision of S.H.I.E.L.D., or more precisely, the field of vision of Nick Fury, the damn Falkman.

At best, his "medical skills" had improved a tiny bit, and he had received a tiny bit more praise, yet he was still being monitored. It can only be said that Fury had a very keen sense of smell and a strong desire for control.

The biggest advantage of Hell's Kitchen is its chaos. Gangs fight each other, assassins of all kinds emerge, there are even mercenaries, and people of all races from across the ocean. You can often see heroes beating up criminals, which can effectively evade S.H.I.E.L.D. surveillance.

From the very first day he moved in, Ji Yuan lamented that he had come too late. He felt that he was not only relaxed and at ease here, but also like a fish in water.

In short, it's comfortable.

Of course, this doesn't mean he's going to commit any crimes here, but rather that there's just too much fun to be had here. Ji Yuan himself is, to put it mildly, a fun-loving person; he doesn't like being the fun-loving one, but he enjoys watching the fun.

And occasionally, when they see criminals bullying ordinary people, they can lend a helping hand, even though there's not much hope of gaining anything. Well, that's true, since everyone lives here, only a few have any hope.

In fact, its greatest effect is to make Ji Yuan feel that he is still a human being. His current state is very strange, as if Noah's divinity is influencing his humanity.

He always unconsciously viewed things from a god's perspective; life, death, good, and evil were nothing but nothingness, and only the shining points of humanity could attract him.

Just as Noah in the original story is the creator god of the multi-dimensional universe, so-called civilization is nothing more than an insignificant ripple in His endless years, rising and falling without His concern. Only those civilizations with sufficiently brilliant characteristics will attract His attention.

Ji Yuan now wants to be a human, not a god. Fortunately, Hell's Kitchen works quite well. He likes some of the people there; even in extreme evil, brilliant talents can emerge.

"Perhaps it's because Ji Yuan and Noah are the same person."

Ji Yuan thought to himself.

He is Noah, and Noah is him. There is no such thing as a human body. His current body can actually be described as a composite and transformation of light.

Theoretically speaking, Ji Yuan can live without eating or sleeping, completely eliminating everything that humans need for life. However, when he considers himself human, he then possesses everything that humans need for life. This state depends entirely on his mind.

Sometimes I have to admit, idealism is truly amazing.

Before he knew it, Ji Yuan had arrived in front of a supermarket.

The supermarket is called Hongqi Supermarket, hmm, a very familiar name.

Ji Yuan selected some meat, some vegetables, some fruit, and some seasonings, intending to prepare something delicious to try. Life is short, so enjoy it while you're still alive.

"Aunt Wang, the bill is due."

Ji Yuan glanced at the large shotgun on the counter and called out in Chinese.

Aunt Wang is the owner, cashier, cleaner, and security guard of this small supermarket, holding multiple positions. She is of Chinese descent.

"Yes, it's coming, it's coming."

Upon hearing Ji Yuan's shout, Aunt Wang, who was keeping accounts with her head down, responded in a friendly Sichuan accent.

"Wow, Xiao Ji ate so much today, you have a good appetite!"

"Yes, we closed a big deal today."

While calculating the money, Aunt Wang chatted with Ji Yuan about everyday things. Ji Yuan was happy to see this, as he found the familiar feeling quite comfortable.

"Give me all the money, or I'll kill you all!"

Ji Yuan and Aunt Wang were having a pleasant chat when suddenly a loud shout rang out from the side. A skinny man with a small knife was speaking threatening words in broken English.

"Sigh, another brainless one."

Ji Yuan thought to himself, "If you're going to rob someone, at least bring a gun! This is Hell's Kitchen! Everyone here has several guns. To come out and rob someone with just a knife is really brainless."

"roll!"

Aunt Wang picked up the shotgun, her hair standing on end in a rage, looking like a tigress.

The skinny robber glanced at the large shotgun in Aunt Wang's hand, then at the tiny knife in his own hand, his eyes filled with terror. He mumbled something under his breath and fled as fast as he could.

"It's alright, Xiao Ji. It seems like quite a few more people have smuggled themselves in here. They even dare to rob people with just a small knife."

"Don't be afraid. If you encounter any problems, go to Aunt Wang. Aunt Wang has a gun, so don't be afraid of her."

Aunt Wang comforted Ji Yuan; she had seen this situation countless times before.

"I'm not afraid of Aunt Wang. I dared to stay here, so I'm sure I'm not afraid of these mundane things."

Ji Yuan thanked Aunt Wang for her kindness, paid for the groceries, and left the supermarket. Little did Aunt Wang know that the man in front of him was none other than the Silver Giant who had recently caused such a stir.

Ji Yuan rented a house right across from Aunt Wang's supermarket, a three-story detached house sandwiched between two apartment buildings. This kind of house is the least likely to be monitored. As for the rent, well, in Hell's Kitchen, those who know, know.

Back inside, on the third floor, the grill we used for barbecue last time was still there.

Take out all kinds of food, sweep them with the power of Ultra, and they become clean in an instant. Then, use telekinesis to control them and neatly cut them up and set them aside.

Light the stove and start grilling the meat.

Before long, the sizzling, oily grilled meat was ready. Sprinkled with various seasonings, one bite was incredibly satisfying. Paired with a sip of beer, the taste was simply indescribable.

"Bang, bang, boom!"

Just as Ji Yuan was enjoying his meal, the sounds of fighting came from the alley next to the house.

I drew back the curtains and looked down through the window, and sure enough, it was that familiar person again.

Daredevil Matt, a blind superhero, is a righteous lawyer by day and a vigilante fighting crime by night, often struggling between these two identities.

Ji Yuan has already met Daredevil three times in a month. He has to admit that Daredevil's skills are indeed impressive, and his efforts in fighting crime are truly remarkable.

While sipping wine and eating barbecue, Ji Yuan watched Daredevil and several gang members outwit and outmaneuver each other.

"puff!"

Ji Yuan suddenly spat out the beer in his mouth and looked at Daredevil below with an incredulous expression.

A meter-long katana had pierced Daredevil's chest.

"Wait, what the hell? Daredevil just fell like that?"
