[HP] Time Corner

Chapter 31

Chapter 31

The corridor was a little dark, and it was quiet everywhere, and in the quiet night, you could hear a needle drop.Harry held Draco's hand tightly under the Invisibility Cloak, clutching the Marauder's Map with the other hand, carefully avoiding Filch and Mrs. Norris, who were watching the night.

They walked through most of the castle to the door of Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.

Draco got out from under the invisibility cloak, looked around, and he had a half-smile: "Honey, don't tell me, the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is here?!" Before Harry could answer, the crying Myrtle Excitedly pounced up and slipped through Harry's body, he shivered suddenly.

"Myrtle, don't make trouble." Harry rubbed the goose bumps on his arms and walked over to several sinks.

"The entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is here. We just need to get some fangs this time." Draco leaned closer, and there was a small snake carved on the side of the brass faucet Harry was staring at.

"Open." Harry made a strange hiss.Immediately, the dragon hair emitted a dazzling white light and began to spin rapidly. Then, the pool moved. They watched the pool slowly disappear from view, revealing a pipe so thick that a person could slip through it.

A moment of silence.

Draco curled his lips in disgust, "It's really not in line with Slytherin's aesthetics."

"Drary, put away your cleanliness for now, I have to say, it's even worse down below. I'll go down first."

Harry leaned forward slowly into the pipe, then let go, letting himself slide down.

A few minutes later, both of them stood on the somewhat damp ground.Draco looked at his custom-made robe was stained with wet, sticky stuff, and his two pale golden eyebrows almost frowned.Harry waved his wand - "Clean up."

"It's disgusting." Draco's face was still wrinkled, "I'm going to throw it away when I get back..." He muttered, and then looked curiously at the legendary Slytherin Chamber of Secrets.Surrounded by dark, sticky walls, is this really the secret room that Salazar built?

"Lumos!" The wand glowed. The two of them stomped on the wet ground, making a loud noise.

"That's where I came down from in my second year, and there was that idiot Lockhart... It's funny to say that he snatched Ron's wand and tried to give us a forget-it-all. The one in the middle is himself. I heard that St. Mungo is still lying there... It’s not far from here. The skin that the basilisk shed should still be there. Aren’t you researching potions recently? That thing is very precious. ..."

"Harry, is that what you're talking about?" The silhouette of a huge coiled figure appeared in front of him, and Draco grabbed Harry's arm tightly, feeling his heart beating fast.

"It's it."

Harry was surprised to see his trembling lover shake off his arm just now, with a strangely excited expression on his face, he couldn't help swallowing.

Draco circled the snakeskin twice. After two years, the snake skin is still green and very bright. "It's great...the best potion ingredients...the godfather will be very happy to see it...what should I do with it...my personal storage cabinet needs to be enriched..."

"Draco—"

"Oh, okay, I know, we still have business to do—" Looking back at the huge, precious, and beautiful skin, he said with some difficulty, "Let's go."

"Snakeskin, we'll come back for it." Harry could barely hold his wand.

Draco remained silent for the rest of the journey, obviously thinking about something.Harry led Draco round and round the tunnel.Turning the last bend, I finally found a solid wall ahead, carved with two intertwined snakes, with large, shining emeralds in their eyes.

"Open it," said Harry in a low, hoarse hiss.

The two snakes parted, the stone wall split in the middle and slowly slid to the sides and disappeared. They went in.

Many stone pillars engraved with coiled and entangled snakes stand tall and support the ceiling that melts in the darkness of the heights, casting long and treacherous black shadows on the entire room filled with green and mysterious atmosphere. At the far end of the room was a huge stone statue, almost as tall as the whole house: an old, monkey-like face, with a long, sparse beard that trailed almost to the hem of the wizard's robes carved in stone, Two big gray feet stood on the smooth floor of the room.

"That's definitely not Salazar." Draco swore.

"I think so too. Voldemort once said that he left the diary in order to guide another man to the noble cause of Salazar Slytherin. Ironic isn't it? I thought Slytherin was really an evil dark wizard at the time , but then..." Harry paused for a moment, and clear doubts appeared in his green eyes, "I don't believe that the person who can make such philosophical teachings is a lunatic who treats human life like dirt."

"Thank you, Harry."

Looking around, Harry asked in confusion, "Strange, why is the body of the basilisk missing?"

Harry made little noises against the stone face. "Speak to me, Slytherin—the greatest of the Hogwarts Four."

"Harry, what are you talking about this time?"

"Talk to me, Slytherin - the greatest of the Hogwarts Four." Draco shook his head and laughed.

Then he was shocked to find that the ugly stone face moved. Its mouth opened, and it grew bigger and bigger, and finally formed a huge black hole.

Something was moving in the statue's mouth.Something rustled and slid upwards from the depths of the statue.Draco turned to look at Harry, who also had obvious surprise on his face.

"No, that's impossible," Harry cried out in horror, "Draco, go—"

He tugged at Draco's arm and stepped back. The hiss behind him seems to be getting closer, it seems to say "Wait—"

Harry staggered a bit.
