Chapter 201 Final Handling Method
Chapter 201 Final Handling Method
When we all reached the tunnel leading to the Screaming Shack, we all heard a wolf howl.
"Run! Remus Lupin has transformed into a werewolf! We need to get out of here quickly!" I shouted from the back of the group to the people walking slowly ahead.
Remus Lupin, despite having drunk the wolfsbane potion, still retains his rationality; the only concern is that he might lose control. Leaving sooner would ensure our safety.
When we all walked out of the hollow of the willow tree, it was already dark, and a big moon hung in the sky. It seemed that tonight was the night of the full moon.
"Severus, get a big rock and block this place up to prevent other night-wandering wizards from accidentally coming here," I said to Severus beside me as I came out last.
“Okay.” Severus looked around, then controlled a stone that was just big enough to block the tree hole, and used the 'Levitation Charm' to block the hole.
"Let's go back to Headmaster Dumbledore's office first. I know you have a lot of questions for me, Harry." He looked at Harry, who wanted to ask him something but couldn't quite put his finger on how to ask.
And so, led by Severus, I walked back to Hogwarts Castle with him at the very end.
When our group arrived at the principal's office, Professor McGonagall was already standing in front of the doorstep, waiting for us.
"Come with me, Albus is already waiting for you, the cockroach swarm." The stern Professor McGonagall glanced at the black dog beside us, then led us to the principal's office.
"Yes, you're finally back." Headmaster Dumbledore adjusted his glasses, the lenses reflecting light so we couldn't see his expression or what he was thinking.
"Let's go back to how we were before." I gently patted the head of Sirius Black, the dog standing next to me.
"Long time no see, Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall." Sirius Black transformed back into human form and stood beside me.
Professor McGonagall nearly drew her wand and pointed it at Sirius Black.
“Minerva, don’t be nervous. It seems you have something to tell us.” Headmaster Dumbledore raised his hand to press down on Professor McGonagall’s wand, waved his hand, and invited us to sit at the large round table for a chat.
The first to sit down were Severus and me. I sat to the left of Headmaster Dumbledore, and Severus sat next to me.
Then Professor McGonagall sat to Professor Dumbledore's right, with Harry, Harry, and the others sitting beside her.
Finally, Sirius Black looked at Severus and sat down alone, one seat away.
"Can anyone explain to me what happened? Why is Sirius Black here with you?" Headmaster Dumbledore asked Harry and his two companions with a smile.
He knew very well that neither Siever, Sirius Black, nor I really wanted to talk.
Finally, Ron, who was a bit of a show-off, explained what had just happened.
"It seems it's time to tell Harry what happened." After hearing what had happened, Headmaster Dumbledore looked at Harry and then at the other people who knew the story.
“Then let me explain the rest,” Sirius Black said, his head bowed, avoiding Harry’s gaze.
"No need, let me explain. After all, only I know their current state." This time, not only were the confused Harry trio looking at me, but even Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall looked at me in surprise.
"First of all, you might not recognize me looking like this, but Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall might still remember me." I smiled and took off my glasses, revealing the bloodline of the Phoenix Clan.
It was as if my black hair was set ablaze, turning red from head to toe, and my emerald eyes also turned as red as flames.
The Slytherin robes she was wearing were instantly engulfed in flames, transforming into a fiery red robe embroidered with exquisite phoenix patterns. The phoenix feathers were so lifelike that they seemed ready to take flight at any moment.
The collar and cuffs of the robe were trimmed with gold, making it look exceptionally luxurious.
A golden belt, inlaid with various gemstones, shimmered with dazzling light around his waist.
She wore a pair of gold bracelets on her wrists, with exquisite patterns engraved on them, shimmering with a mysterious light.
She wore a pair of golden boots, embroidered with exquisite phoenix patterns that shimmered with dazzling light.
His whole body was surrounded by flames, but the flames did not harm him or the people around him, and there was not a single source of heat.
Harry, Harry, and his friends were stunned by my actions. Even Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall were seeing me in this disguise for the first time.
Sirius Black and Severus had already seen what I did, so they weren't that surprised.
“I’m the one who saved Lily Potter and James Potter,” I said, looking at Harry sitting across from me, enunciating each word clearly.
As I spoke, Harry stared at me with wide eyes.
“Yes, Harry, your parents are not dead, they are alive.” I said to Harry again, word by word.
After hearing what I said, Harry's eyes suddenly reddened, and he buried his face in his hands and cried.
We all watched Harry cry loudly, and no one said a word to stop him.
Professor McGonagall, who was sitting next to him, patted his back. We were all waiting for him to vent, until his crying gradually subsided.
"Why didn't you tell me the truth from the beginning?" Harry whispered, his voice hoarse from crying.
"This is to protect my own life. My blood can save lives, and if many people find out about this, the consequences will be unimaginable." Yes, this is also a way for me to protect myself. I don't want too many people to know my trump card.
“Besides, your parents are still asleep and haven’t woken up yet. If I told you I saved your mom and dad the moment we met, would you believe me?” I said to Harry.
"Thank you, Ayers, thank you so much." At least his parents are still alive, which is incredibly good news.
"Now let's talk about what to do with this." I took out a small Peter Pettigrew inside a water bubble and placed it on the table.
"Who is he?" Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall looked curiously at the water bubble on the table.
“Peter Pettigrew, he almost killed James Potter, I saw it with my own eyes, and then this idiot just stood there and got caught.” I smiled and pointed to Sirius Black, who was sitting a seat away from Severus.
Sirius Black was furious but dared not speak out when I said those things to him; he couldn't win, so he could only suffer in silence.
For some reason, Severus found Sirius Black, whom Ayers called an idiot, quite amusing.
“I think it should be left to the Ministry of Magic to handle,” Headmaster Dumbledore suggested.
“Headmaster Dumbledore, are you naive or am I stupid? Do you think the people in the Ministry of Magic can handle this?” I pressed my finger against the water bubbles and rolled them around. Inside, Peter Pettigrew was running around like a hamster on a treadmill.
"I believe they should be able to handle it." Headmaster Dumbledore still insisted on leaving Peter Pettigrew to the Ministry of Magic.
“Then let me analyze the process of handing Peter Pettigrew over to the Ministry of Magic. First, they will force-feed him a truth serum, then convict him and transport him to Azkaban, and finally, he will use the Animagus to escape and continue his evil deeds.” I’ve seen Peter Pettigrew’s escape route from my previous life.
Peter Pettigrew was startled by what I said; that was exactly what he had planned to do to escape.
"The second method is to give him a Dementor's Kiss, but it can't be done immediately; there's a relatively long time before he escapes and continues his evil deeds." I quite like this solution, but it has a drawback: it's like sentencing someone to death, but there's no enforcement power, and the person just gets away.
"As for the third one..." I was originally planning to continue listing them.
"Alright, so what do you want to do with Peter Pettigrew?" Headmaster Dumbledore knew that my list was aimed at him, and he understood what I was trying to say.
“Come on, Sirius Black, I’m giving you a chance to interrogate Peter Pettigrew. I also have a modified camera that works in the wizarding world. Just hand the footage to the newspapers.” I gave Sirius Black a bottle of Truth Potion and Harry a camera. It was obvious I wanted them to do it.
“We know what to do. How do we break this?” Sirius Black picked up the vial of potion, and Harry picked up the camera. They both looked at me.
"Here you go, but don't play around with it. I added a little something extra to that truth serum; it'll be terrible if you drink it." I tossed the bubble containing Peter Pettigrew to Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew reverted to human form the moment his hand touched it.
"No, you can't do this! This is vigilante justice!" Peter Pettigrew panicked; he was terrified.
"It's alright, you won't die. I'll bring you back." I smiled as I watched them leave.
Sirius Black left with Harry just like that.
"Isn't this a bit inappropriate?" Professor McGonagall asked with concern as the two people left.
“It’s alright, Professor McGonagall. They need some time alone to clear up the misunderstanding.” I reassured Professor McGonagall. Although Sirius Black was a bit unreliable, he was still Harry’s godfather.
"It's alright, Minerva. Those two kids know what they're doing. You have to trust them." Actually, Dumbledore trusted me. He knew that if I said I wouldn't let Peter Pettigrew die, I would definitely find a way to handle it.
"So what do we need to do next?" Harry left, leaving Hermione and Ron sitting there alone.
"Hermione and Ron, why don't you go back and rest? Can you please not tell anyone about what happened today?" I said gently to Hermione and Ron.
"Alright, we'll head back now." Hermione and Ron both knew that there was nothing for them to do here.
After seeing Ron and Hermione leave, Headmaster Dumbledore, who had been amiable, immediately had a gleam in his eyes.
"I'd like to know Mr. Ayers Hall's plans afterward." Headmaster Dumbledore was used to my way of doing things; he knew I had plans in place.
"Everyone's still talking about Sirius Black's betrayal and murder of his friend. They don't know the real story. We need to tell the whole wizarding world the truth to get that idiot Sirius Black back." I'm getting thirsty after talking for so long.
He took out two cups of coffee from his portable backpack for himself and Severus to listen to, and gave two cups of milk tea to Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, and of course handed the Headmaster a whole cup of sugar for him to add himself.
“If you keep adding sugar, I won’t make you any more dental potions,” Severus said, frowning as he watched Headmaster Dumbledore keep adding sugar.
“Alright, let’s continue.” Headmaster Dumbledore looked at Severus, who had a dark expression, and Ayers, who was smiling at him.
"Now we're just waiting for the video Harry and Sirius Black filmed. I have investments in a few newspapers, so I can get it distributed throughout the wizarding world. Then we can negotiate with the Ministry of Magic." I took a small sip of my coffee.
"Ayers Hall, did you tamper with Peter Pettigrew?" Headmaster Dumbledore also took a sip of his milk tea. The steam from the tea blurred his glasses, and no one could see his eyes clearly.
Everyone in the principal's office fell silent.
"Yes, I added some slow-acting poison to the truth serum," I answered decisively.
Severus seemed to have known I would do this, calmly sipping his coffee, while Professor McGonagall covered her mouth in surprise.
"The effects of that slow-acting poison." Headmaster Dumbledore slowly stirred the milk tea with a spoon.
"Permanently lose magic power." I said it as if it were something perfectly normal.
Even the usually calm Severus was surprised. It was the first time he had ever heard of a potion that could permanently dissipate magic. He thought, "If someone finds out about this, I'll definitely be arrested."
If Severus was so surprised, then Professor McGonagall and Headmaster Dumbledore were even more astonished.
"Does Ayers Hall still have any of this medicine?" Dumbledore asked. This medicine was too dangerous; it could destroy a wizard.
"If you want it to appear, it will appear; if you don't want it to appear, it won't appear. Of course, it all depends on whether it appears in my hands or not," I said with a smile.
“Very good, none of us will tell anyone, and we don’t want to see this potion appear at the moment,” Headmaster Dumbledore said with a smile.
"I understand, Headmaster Dumbledore." After we finished talking, Harry and Sirius Black finally returned.
Sirius Black was still carrying the silly-looking Peter Pettigrew in his hand.
