Game of Thrones: Summoning the Fourth Calamity

Chapter 26: Is a Black Dragon Also a Dragon?

Chapter 26: Is a Black Dragon Also a Dragon?

The visitor was none other than Zhao Xiaotian's third uncle, Zhao Hongtian's third younger brother.

Clearly, in Zhao Hongtian's eyes, his third brother was far superior to his unreliable son.

After learning about the game's content from the other party, Zhao Hongtian finally made up his mind to allocate some funds to support the development of Zhao Xiaotian and his son within the game.

Upon hearing that his father had finally decided to start releasing gold coins, Zhao Xiaotian, who had just recruited a bunch of underlings and sent out a bunch of red envelopes but was short of funds, immediately beamed with joy.

"Don't be too happy yet. I won't give you the money. I'll have your second uncle register a game account for you in a bit. He'll bring people into the game to join your guild. Your second uncle doesn't understand game stuff, but you'll have to listen to him when it comes to money."

"After all, your grandfather had foresight. It's fine for you to spend money lavishly, but you're not good at doing business. If it weren't for the fact that your second uncle doesn't usually pay much attention to games, I would never have let you get involved in this."

Zhao Hongtian's cold water made Zhao Xiaotian feel extremely disheartened, but he also knew his father's personality; if he said he wouldn't let him have control, then he meant he wouldn't allow him to.

Well, at least the guild managed to raise some funds.

The continent of Essos.

With a squad of Unsullied soldiers by their side, Viserys and his sister stood before the ivy garden, a place Illyrio had never brought them to.

Five mute slaves and three eunuchs were pinned to the ground by the Immaculate soldiers, unable to move.

Not long ago, Viserys had gathered all the servants in the name of Illyrio and dealt with them all.

Viserys knew without even thinking why there were eight and a half extra people.

"Which of you can contact Varys across the strait?" Viserys asked, looking at the eight men as if he had just remembered something, as he was about to step into the garden.

The people just hung their heads and remained silent, as if they were both mute and deaf.

They all seemed to have undergone special training. Viserys shook his head in disappointment, then entered the garden under the protection of six Unsullied guards.

"what!"

Amidst Daenerys's screams, eight half-humans were pinned to the ground by Unsullied soldiers' spears.

Illyrio has hidden this garden very well; I suppose Lord Illyrio, who is under house arrest, is still praying that this place will not be discovered.

His Majesty thought so.

Passing through the dog kennels, an unassuming laundry room came into Viserys's view.

"Bring the person out."

Viserys had already determined who was in the house. With a wave of his hand, two Unsullied barged into the laundry room with expressionless faces.

Before long, a woman's screams and curses reached Viserys' ears, and then a woman dressed exactly like a washerwoman was dragged out.

"grown ups!"

Silas dared not look up at Viserys; she knelt on the ground, trembling, just as the servants would when they saw a great man.

Viserys frowned. He had no interest in the woman before him and said nothing more. A mother would not reveal the whereabouts of her child to someone with malicious intent.

After instructing two Unsullied to watch over the woman, His Majesty the King, accompanied by four Unsullied, personally entered the laundry room.

"Search! Search the secret passages, the hidden compartments—any place that could hide a child! Find that bastard!"

With his hand resting on the hilt of the sword at his waist, Viserys himself was unaware that he was being subtly influenced by the original owner of this body, or rather, by the original owner's father's madness.

Half of the Targaryens are madmen, just like the saying goes: when a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin.

The original owner is dead, but the soul residing in his body has clearly been affected by that madman's influence.

"Wow!"

The baby's cries made Silas, who was kneeling outside, tense up abruptly. She turned around sharply, opening her mouth wide as if to call out to her child.

But before she could utter a sound, the baby's cries abruptly ceased.

Sila's pupils widened suddenly, and she opened her mouth as if to scream.

"puff!"

But the Unsullied's spear had already pierced her throat through the back of her head.

Looking at the spearhead that had "spit out" from her mouth, with half of her tongue still attached, Silas thought in despair:

"How could a black dragon be a real dragon?"

Viserys emerged from the laundry room, his back to the Unsullied, his hand adorned with a ring lightly brushing his cheek.

"Burn it clean."

As the black fire died down, Illyrio, who was under house arrest, inexplicably felt a throbbing in his chest.

Without needing to say more, the governor sighed deeply and closed his eyes in anguish.

The night is long; some people curl up in pain, while others smile at the future.

As dawn broke.

Viserys, clad in robes and armor, rested his hands on his sword, with twenty-eight Unsullied soldiers standing in neat rows behind him.

As the doors to the rooms were pushed open, large numbers of players emerged like curious children.

"Holy crap! Heavens above, I'm actually playing a 100% realistic virtual game!"

"Someone slap me and tell me this is a game, not that I've traveled through time!"

"They say the most flamboyantly dressed one is King Viserys of the Targaryens. Damn, how come he's more handsome than me? Thumbs down!"

In the small courtyard, there were at least two or three hundred new and old players gathered at the moment, and even so, a large number of players were still logging in continuously.

This morning, Viserys made a special trip to check, and the 3,000 online beta test slots he had Little Fireman set up had already been snapped up.

In other words, unless there are players who have urgent matters to attend to in real life, Viserys will have a player legion of three thousand men under his command today.

Fortunately, Illyrio's courtyard was large enough that, with the three main gates open, it could barely accommodate the three thousand people.

Standing beside Viserys, Daenerys was beginning to doubt herself. She simply couldn't understand how it was possible for such a thing to happen in this world: you could wake up one day to find an army loyal to you.

Similarly, the Unsullied who stood guard beside Viserys, acting as a backdrop to bolster His Majesty the King's prestige, were just as bewildered.

Although they were rigorously trained and didn't have many thoughts in their minds, it didn't mean they were like machines, completely unfazed by the sudden appearance of an army.

"My power is divinely ordained!"

And the high-class opening remarks stunned the players present. Of course, they had learned before entering the game that if they wanted to experience the full version of the game, they had to please the main NPC who runs through the game's storyline.

Otherwise, not only would no one listen to Viserys's nonsense, but there would be a whole bunch of players coming up with swords to stab him in the butt right now.

It's the same old story of imperial power collapsing and traitors usurping the throne. The players finally received Viserys's order to break up into several mercenary groups and hide their troops in the city.
